Finally managed to link the application - for anyone who is interested I input the Application #, PA's city and country of birth but NO passport details - that did the trick.

Now we await to hear from them.

Any idea if all PA's must do a medical? If so, is there a standard request? Ideally, we would want to get this done in advance.

CIC will request your medical exam later on.. do you have request for sched A and pcc already?

Finally I could log in ECAS and I found out that my app was received on June 1!!! How is this possible ? My app was received in may 16. Anyways, now waiting to hear good news. What an adventure !

Did you receive any reply from them? When did you upload your IM5669?

I tried to apply for visitor visa last year (march 2016) , basically to be with my husband on his birthday ( july ) and to witness canada day .. I applied for a 2 months visa but it was denied.. they made a decision a week after they receive my application, stating grounds of its denial.. they said my application is missing this and that , but all those that they mention was included in the papers that i sent them so i dont see any reason for them to deny the fact that my application was complete.. so i guess they dont grant visitor visa for those married couples and if they do , chances of its approval is so low ..

So i think its better if you just wait for your spouse visa..
Or maybe its varies depending on what country you're (the applicant) from..
But if the applicant is from philippines (like me) , i dont think they're gonna approve it... but then again, you can try coz its fast, it wont take you a month..

I am in the same issue CCOc received my file on the 9th MAY but I haven't heard anything.

I'm the sponsor and I can login to my ecas using my uci number. It shows the details about the sponsorship application and PR application of principal applicant. By the way I got AOR before 15 minutes

My lawyer sent me the email with the application number and UCI. I was trying to log in ECAS but yesterday the system had a problem. Today I could do it and said that they received it in June 1, when they did in may 16. Maybe my app was misplaced, at least they are working on now.

In ECAS I putted the PA's information.
