no need to sign if you will send it to your linked account, but based on what I read if you send it through mail or through IRCC Web form you need to sign then scan(bec. Due to technical issues on accounts you cannot receive any correspondence even though CIC already request it from you. You can check your ECAS, it is updated. Most of us got information on ECAS that CIC already sent us correspondence after we linked our accounts.Please can some reply to this I finally succeeded in linking my application and have more question does the sponsor have to sign the declaration and electronic signature. Where it states "I agree that by submitting this application, I am electronically signing the application".On the linked aacount.Or did any one noticed this.
Hi, you're very welcome. Well it isn't normal but has come to be normal lately since CIC is having technical issues with their system. Try checking your ECAS status under the PA's section. You could probably see if they have tried sending the correspondence email to you.

Under the Permanent Residence Application Status, click on the 'Application Received' field. On there there should be at least one message which should read " We received XXXXX XXXX XXXX's application for permanent residence on May 6th, 2017.
Check to see if there are other messages.

the information states we received application for permanent for null xxxxxx(Principal applicant's name) Is this normal. i don't understand why null is included. And the PA hasn't been requested the Schedule A form yet.
