Hi, I have one more question. When your file was returned before that did you called CIC to know the status on your file? If yes did they check for the notes on ur UCI number? I am told that if they return the file they put a note on SA UIC that why the file was returned.

No I am still waiting for AOR. I dont know whr is my file at this moment. I am calling CIC every alternate days. They told me that someone is trying to file whr is my file.

OMG,we didn't send any translations too..and actually we're having some problems because my husband submitted our app on May 3 and until now we didn't received anything yet,even AOR

i didnt translate mine either but i got AOR , med request and i got approved as sponsor as well just waiting for sched A req

I have few questions:

• I cant link my account. Didn't we only have 7 calendar days to link it? I know it not mandatory but it makes life much easier as you can see everything/all updates in one place. How to link it if Application #/Last name didn't work and all other combination there is???
• Where can I see the request for medical / Schedule A if my account isn't linked?
• Where can I upload my Schedule A if my account isn't linked?

Yes when I called they searched for my application using purolator tracking number told me when it was received when it was returned and the reason why

Yes, same with ours..they still can't find anything in their system under our name..the agent also told me that,if our app was returned then there will be a note on my husband's uci..he told me to wait 1 week more..it's so frustrating because we have been waiting 1 month and half,actually it's almost 2 months and still didn't received anything..i hope our file is not missing

Hi guys, question for the forum. Before applying I sat down with a lawyer to go over my application. I mentioned to the lawyer I am receiving government child health benefits for my kids. The lawyer said that won't affect me. Then I called the child benefits line to make changes to my file and the lady on the phone said to me"you can't sponsor while receiving government brnefits" . Been stressed out ever since as I havent received sponsorship approval as yet. Anyone know the correct answer to this? Please help!!

So after being very stressed out I finally got my answer to this question. Alberta child health benefits is NOT considered welfare.

Questions,

1) We applied for my partner approx 2 mths ago when we lived in Australia hence the Outland application. We have since moved back to Canada this past week (with my partner on a 6 mth visitor visa), and are wondering if my partner can now apply for a work permit now that we are here. Application has been received (AOR on June 16, Sponsorship eligibility approved June 20). We have not updated our details on the govt website, but plan on doing so soon. I have updated the May spreadsheet.

2) what are my partners options for extending her visitor visa if the PR does not come in before the 6 mths are up?). Do we apply for an extension, or do we get some type of "application pending" statue which allows her to stay past the 6 mths.

I just noticed at the bottom on statud page on mycic theres a bottom to view application submitted and in there it states documents required has that always been there
