Yes, this is AOR. It does not mean that you got SA already.

Hello, for me the date from when they received my file to the date when I was approved to sponsor (SA)
was 67 days, then 3 days more to transfer the file.

It is too early for you to receive SA.
I still haven't received an email or a letter advising that I received SA.
I only learned that I'd passed that stage by phoning.

A little patience is needed, but you'll get to the end of the SA process possibly perhaps by the first week in August.
That's my guess but don't take that as coming from the officials, yours may be faster than mine.

Best Wishes.

Hi Ishita,

You should call CIC. I haven't received my SA letter/email yet. But when I called CIC, they checked the file and informed that my SA has been approved on July 25. My file was submitted on May 26 as well. So you should have your SA already approved. They don't send email/letter quickly and I guess the ecas status changes only when the file is transferred to visa office. Call CIC and get the status. Good Luck.

Hi Ishita,

I think, you should call CIC now. I also haven't received my SA letter/email yet but when I called CIC this morning, she checked the file and informed me that my SA has already been approved and the file was transferred too. She also assured me of forwarding a note to issue SA letter to me. You also may have your SA already approved. Good Luck.

Finally got a confirmation EMAIL that i met requirements to be sponsor and the file is sent to New Delhi....

If you are waiting over 60days, i recommend you to call CIC and they will let you know status over phone and also make sure that you will receive an email confirmation soon. (which relieves you a bit before the next waiting period)

NOW THE REAL WAIT BEGINS :)

Congrats on the recent SA's. One step closer :)

Good luck on your further processing.
Unfortunately there is no updates from NDVO for 2016 applicants hope it will change soon.

Yea, i was actually monitoring 2015/2016 Delhi forums/spread sheets....
Looks like some of early 2016 are LUCKY ones to have PR processed in 4 to 5 months.

Hopefully once the student/other visa work load is reduced at NDVO they will concentrate on our files. HOPE

Congratulations!! I've seen Ottawa has been rushing through those applications like maniacs so it's likely not going to be that long of a wait for you! Do you, or anyone else, happen to know which application CIC sends to Ottawa? Is it totally random?

Thanks everyone and happy waiting game!

From what i noticed in other forums Ottawa office is receiving files of US citizens, and few applicants from visa exempt countries..

They are already visa exempted and getting PR in couple of months after sponsor approval (HOW LUCKY)

Thanks! From what I read the general consensus is that Ottawa does the visa exempt and more straight forward applications (hopefully..!).
