Do you guys have any idea how long time would it take for decision to be made on our applications?
That completely depends on you visa office and if you end up getting any document requests/interview etc. There's no way for anyone to give you a specific time that your application will be finished by, but different visa offices have different trends on how fast they complete applications. You're going to have to give us a little more information.

Guys you do please update your timeline in spreadsheet also. :) :D ;D
Thanks

Longer SA times like 60 days is actually fairly normal, but I would definitely call the CIC and ask them if SA has been approved yet. The current processing time for SA on the CIC website is 56 days, so they won't be able to give you any information if you haven't passed that point.

Mine have pass that point....Tomorrow will make mine 70days,I just check my status online, nothing new ,but I see people who is ahead of me receiving there's

you can call them and check the status, it could be the case that SA was already approved and just the communication wasn't reached on mail

Hi.I want to call canada immigration to know status of my sponsorship spouse application. I am in pakistan. Any number which may be working outside canada. Pls reply

May 10 Applicant, AOR1 on May 31st.
Never received SA via mail or email.
Called in today and was told that sponsor was approved back on 30th June, and the agent was not able to answer why my SA letter is never sent out.

There must be some problem with CIC's auto email system, cz I think I'm not the only one here who have not received SA which was approved over a week ago.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE WORRIED WHY THEIR SA IS DELAYED...

Check this post from an April2016 applicant who waited 90days for SA.

I received my first GCMS notes. I saw it in my email; when I was in the US for a work trip.. i just printed them off.. there were 16 pages. I had my SA back in June 13.. my case was just forwarded to Paris; therefore I was not able to see much on my wife, aka PA side.. everything is blank including assessment.

However now I understood why my SA was delayed.. almost 90 days.. they were checking my old undertake, which was my parents I sponsored by in 2009.. they were never on welfare. CIC requested BC social service twice for my parents and me in fax.. no reply from B.C. until last month. thats why it was delay.

I wanted to point out one thing here. Someone suggested that fax CPC-M document without their request might delay the process. it was not the case. I faxed in my 2015 Notice of Assessment. GCMS note indicated that they received it. did not seem to be the cause of my delay.

once CIC received a negative result of if my parents and I had been on welfare before, after a day; notes said SA past.
I received an email in 3 days.

Hello everyone I have a confusion about what agent said on the phone that
I got approved last week for SA and i will get an email in few weeks and then they will transfer my file in a month or two to NDVO?
Is that there is a new way to hold the file like that to decrease burden at NDVO?
Anyone have same experience?

First of all, all file transfers take place electronically, after your SA is approved. The date of file transfer is usually few days after your SA approval, and it goes into NDVO queue.

I don't think it will take two months or even a month to transfer. I got SA June27 and on the applicant side (ecas) it says "started processing" by July6.
