We received your application to sponsor -------- on May 25, 2016
We sent you correspondence acknowledgement receipt on your application(s) on June 11, 2016
We started processing application on June 10, 2016

Does that mins SA? Or AOR 1?

Another question is..as what is stated in his address..Winnipeg, Alberta nakaindicate s ECAS instead of Winnipeg, Manitoba? Do we need to update that? Will it affect the status of our application?

I suggest you update it inline. Now a days they are sending simple mails for SAs. So better to keep it updated

All the applicants and sponsors can start this forum with understanding of outland spousal process;


1. SPONSOR expectation during the first step: Grin Grin Grin

a. AOR1 or Application package will be sent back for lack of relevant document
b. Request for missing document or updated document - based on your spousal application
c. Medical, CIC payment, required application forms and Police report check
d. SA = Sponsor Approval email or letter

2. SPONSORED APPLICANT expectation during the second step: Shocked Shocked

e. AOR2 - from Visa Office
f. missing or updated document request - based on case to case
g. eligibility and criminality check
h. Interview - based on case to case
i. passport request for visa

hi people!
I applied in may. They received my application on may 3rd. I received the SA on june 20.
They said that the second file was sent to Bucharest.
Second line already is saying: "we start processing your file on July 1st."
Is that means they are processing already?
How long from here?

Received email from London VO today asking for 2 recent photographs of the applicant.

I already sent 9 photographs with the application. They say what we provided with the application don’t meet the requirements.

The only difference I see in the requirements is I had to put date of birth on back of one of the picture including Photographer stamp and date (requirement in country specific instructions), while in the new requirements they don’t ask to write date of birth (Only Photographer stamp and date this time).

That’s the only difference I see (Unless the photographer made a mistake) :-X :-X :-X

Did anyone else get the similar request? Any advice?

It is a good idea, maybe they didn't send you SA but its already approved.
