Normally how many days after SA should i expect ecas update on PA side.,? Talking about the actual SA date , not the email.

Normally how many days after SA should i expect ecas update on PA side.,? Talking about the actual SA date , not the email.

I got the official SA via email and my ecas was updated two days after.

May 5th Applicant.
Got no access to ECAS from sponsor side.

Called them today (strange enough at the beginning, before punching through the menu, it warned me about the high volumes and still made it through).
They said that I got the SA today and that I should be getting a letter in 2-3 days.

I do not understand why would they mail it through regular mail if Canada Post will probably strike from July 2nd.
I already got a notification from Bell that their bills may not make it to me, so it looks like it is happening.
So I hope the notification of SA will not be through snail.

I called them today they told me that no SA yet for me. I am May 12 applicant. We have to wait longer because 43 days is in 80% cases. Finger crossed.

I called CIC and was told SA was decided yesterday (June 28/16) and I was approved!

(Our app was received May 6/16 and we received AOR1 May 26/16. I am sponsoring my spouse who is a US citizen).

Our application was received on 3rd May as per AOR1 (emailed on 20th May). Haven't received the SA yet. Called CIC yesterday, the agent told me the file hasn't been assessed yet. Fingers crossed. ???

UPDATE:

I called CIC this morning and he said that I'm approve as sponsor and in my file, it says that they already sent an email. I told him that I checked my email before calling them. He said, for some reason, sometimes the email doesn't go thru even it shows "sent" on their end.

Could that be the reason CIC is not sending emails now most of the times, because sometimes emails don't go through?

They should fix this issue.

Sending notifications by mail works too but it's wasting our and CIC's time. I see many users called and they were told they got SA and mail has been sent. If it was just an email, we wouldn't need to call.

Informed "already passed the eligibility criteria"
Cic sent an email to us, but never received am email.
They have mailed out letters on Monday.

I'm May10 applicant, the agent said I have not been approved SA yet, but he will put a note onto my file to ask the officers review my file as it already passed 43 days.
I did tell him that I'm moving but he said I cannot change address over the phone and have to do it online which I cannot because I cannot access my file online using sponser info.

I'm May 11 applicant and called them today. They mentioned the same thing to me that Sponsor eligibility is still under review, but as it is more than 43 days, "he will put a note onto my file to ask the officers to expedite review of my file". Also I was told that I will receive further communication by email as my email is updated with them. Fingers crossed, hoping to hear from them soon!!!!
