Logged in to ECAS and found "decision made" under sponsor assessment. I find it weirdthough coz when i clicked on it and it says that they have sent corresponndence on "JuLY 9, 2015". However when i look into the pdf file attached to the email i received, it is dated July 13! Lol

Congrats on our SAs!

Congratulations to all of you!
It looks like they approve SAs, send emails and change the status in Ecas right away. That's great because sometimes people have to wait for the email for a week or even more.
I hope my wife will get her approval soon.

Hi Guys, the sponsor approval says that I need to submit medical (see text in bold). I submitted my wife's upfront medical, but they have not acknowledged it anywhere (even in ECAS i only see application received). How do i check if they have everything that they need ? Is the verbiage below generic ? (its kinda conflicting)

Requirement for Medical Examination:

If your sponsored relative(s) has (have) not already done so, your relative(s) must provide an original Upfront Medical Report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Upfront Medical Notification information sheet. Your relative(s) must complete the medical examination and, once completed, forward this information directly to the visa office noted above along with a copy of this letter. Your application has been transferred to the visa office noting this deficiency. Your relative must forward the medical information directly to the visa office to allow continued processing of his/her application. Failure to do so will result in delays and possible refusal of your relative's application.

Everyone gets the same wording. Don't worry as long as you had sent the e-medical form.

Rambopg said don't worry as everyone gets the same wording. But I would still worry that the medical was never sent properly to CIC by the medical centre. The medical proof was of course included in the applicant's part of the application right? If it was me I would call CIC to confirm if they received the medical so that I could stop worrying about this particular part of the process.

My letter for SA approval shows the same thing. ECAS doesn't show medical received. My file has been transferred and all it shows is application received.

May 12th applicant - finally got through to someone at the call center, and the agent said that since the processing time has passed, she will send an email today to the agent(s) working on our file and they will contact us directly. (I am guessing they'll just send us the SA email). Fingers crossed, but I can't help but worry just a tinge.
