yes. PPR on july 23. Passport received at Manila VO july 27. I was in process July 28 but it states in Ecas that they started processing my file on july 24. There is delay in the actual processing and the updating in ECAs

Your's was too quick. But ours is different. ecas says in process but my husband havent recieved any ppr yet. did they send it by mail?or email?

me too not yet receive ppr request, it is just status changes to in process after file transfer to London visa office.

permanent resident status in ecas in process-august 7th

I think London starts processing your file then request your passport at the very end of the process. Whereas Manila VO requests the passport at the very beginning then starts processing ypur application.

LVO PPR always receive in the end of processing for pakistani citiizens when they decided to grant visa.

I think your wrong i freaked out wrote tons of emails to my mp and minister responsible for immigration.. I am a lawyer I know how to write deadly letters and no less then 5 days later we received the request for her passport. This process is horrible so i urge you all to *censored word* whine and complain.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease..

To all you secret CIC employees reading this forum I thank you for your conscientiousness and great attitude and work ethic. I know you can name the odd coworker who isn't super-efficient just like in any office. More importantly, I know you have piles of work with deadlines you strive to meet so I applaud you. Please provide my wife with the visa and PR approval ASAP.
