hi everyone! i checked ECAS and the sponsorship (1st stage) is now in process while the principal applicant's PR application (2nd stage) says received.
the OWP application is not on ECAS though and we still have not received any AOR/emails from CIC at all.
i asked on another thread if that's normal and someone replied that it is so i'm just glad; keeping my fingers crossed.. just wanted to update you guys

So how did you get a log on to Ecas if you didn't get any message from CIC?

i used my UCI and my husband's UCI as well.
we both have UCI`s since i`m a PR and he`s a TFW.

An update for those like me who submitted the incorrect OWP fee. I submitted my inland spouse and OWP (with $100 instead of $255) on May 26, 2015 and have not heard anything at all, no AOR, no OWP (understandable), and no returned application. I didn't try to send OWP again as I was already out of status when I realized.

The one consolation is that I can see my case has been received on ECAS, as I have my unique client number from my expired IEC open work permit.

CIC has told me over the phone I just need to wait for their instructions and that if my OWP is returned I will be given a chance to rectify my lack of status. It is still within the four month timeframe, so fingers crossed I hear something in the next couple of weeks.

The only update I have is that my initial OWP application which I never paid for was returned to me while the PR application was retain. But I had already already done a follow up OWP application with the full payment before they returned it to me..... Goodluck everyone

my case is a bit complex as well.
I got the returned OWP package from CPR-M on Aug 11, then I sent it back with the additional $155 receipt plus the letter which I wrote to explain that I also sent a copy of the OWP to CPR-V in June after I had found out I only paid $100 in my original PR + OWP in May.

My visitor status was expired on June 13, and I have been thinking if I should apply for restoration of status before Sept 12. I called the CIC help line but not able to get through with any operator answered me. So I sent a case enquiry on the CIC on the CIC website and hope that it will be answered in about 10 days as my case has actually exceeded the processing time.I did not receive any AOR for my PR and I have no identification number or UCI number to check my application status online, so I also asked if both of my applications are being processed in my enquiry. Fingers crossed. I am just tired if not worried or devastated.

No AOR at all, but "We received your application for permanent residence on May 8, 2015; Medicial results have been received." is shown on ECAS when I have just checked the my application status online using the UCI provided on the OWP.

Thanks Joey. So how does your OWP go? any news or new instructions from CIC? no AOR for the PR still? I know how it feels when we just have to wait and worry about our status.

Seriously there was a time I was just wondering if I should have sent the 2nd OWP application to CIC-V in June. I was so worried when I received the returned OWP application from CIC-M in August. I just hope that you will get your OWP like I did soon. Did you resend the returned application at all besides the 2nd one you submitted?

Thanks Joan. I found out that there won't be any application status for OWP if we applied in papers. As i know, there will only be updated application status for those OWPs applied online. There is no in-between correspondence such as email or mail from CIC for any OWP application at all except those cases that CIC returned the incomplete applications and asked for resubmittion.

For the eCAS status online, it just stated that my PR application was received. I wish it was like yours that said In Progress and gave me a clearer explanation of what stage it is or what has been doing. Oh well, I hope it will be in progress soon and not just be sitting there. With the UCI given on the OWP, I am glad that at least i know it is there and I can relate any change or update of my case to CIC directly.
