Just wanna share the timeline of our applications and see how the progress goes along. A thread for our own specific concerns while waiting. I applied the PR and OWP myself without any representative.

For more information about 2015 Inland application, please go to another thread and ask the owner Sophieee. She is nice. I am no expert here honestly. This thread is just for the May 2015 applicants. Good luck to all and hope we keep updating each other. Thanks.

Med Exam - done upfront on 14 Mar 2015
Original PR and OWP - app sent to CPC - Mississauga (courier address) on 6 May 2015, courier received by CIC on 8 May 2015
2nd OWP - app sent to CPC – Vegreville on 4 June 2015
Miskates made:
(1) Not filing the payer info parts on the official receipts
(2) Not making sufficient payment for the original OWP application, $255 in total, only $100 is paid at first
Current Status : waiting for initial feedback from CIC

We sent in our inland application on the 26th of may 2015. We did it on our own, didn't use any rep.

Sent on 26th may delivered the next day.

Am kind of concerned, we sent the application though canada post to the send address that says 'send your application to this address if you're using a private courier'
will that affect our application in anyway?

I sent my original application to the courier address too, so I assumed it is the only way we could do if we want to track if the package is being delivered.

Hopefully the reroute it to the main address. I'll call immigration to find out what might happen.

Hopefully they won't send it back to us.

The agents I spoke to told me that there's nothing wrong with sending an application to either of both addresses.

Thanks for starting this thread. I applied for PR and OWP in May 2015 and like you, I did not provide sufficient payment for OWP ($100 only). Just had a couple of questions about your solution - was it suggested by CIC by any chance? Were you still in valid status (visitor/work etc) when your second OWP application was received?

My work permit expired two days after my PR and OWP was received by CIC... it was three weeks after that I realized I made a mistake with my OWP fees.... It will be great to hear any feedback on your case.

it was suggested by Sophieee in another athread and i think it made sense. Since i have not received any client number from CIC yet, the only way to make sure it works should either be applying visitor extension before the vaild status expires or sending another copy of OWP application to CPC-V with correct fee receipts.

I have to apply for OWP no matter what, so I sent out the OWP application again and made sure the CIC receive it before my valid status expired.
