May 2015 Canadian Citizenship Applicants- Plan in Advance and get Success

My idea of starting this thread is assembly of all future May citizenship 2015 applicants, so that with experience of experts, we all should do the Rock solid preparation in advance, so that none of the applications as a May 2015 applicants is returned. so start asking about your concerns. Ask the questions to get the right answer. Just be polite and gentle. Good Luck.

Hopefully new laws will be applicable 4/6 years from 19th june 2015. so this is last opportunity to apply under old rules. Cheers

Any idea while sending application photo need to be in separate envelope with name written on envelope as i get photo from Costco...

Other thing in the applictaion what ever is not applicable i will leave it blank right???

Pack the photos together (two of them) in one envelope and use a paper clip to attach it with the application. Rest details, you can read using the following link:

Whatever is not applicable, don't leave it blacnk, write "N/A".

Hello,

My wife consulted somebody about our application and below are his comments:

- photocopy of the passport, PR card, ID's should be black and white
- the date in section 10 of the application from (the signature section) should be hand written

I don't think these small things really matter but I just want to hear from you guys what you think.

It does not matter if you send the copy of the documents in black/white or color. Usually everyone makes a black/white photocopy
In real terms the photocopy should be "Clear and legible"

I wrote the date in PDF file using my computer keyboard and there were no issues. Signature should be written using a pen by hand. Date can be typed in the computer

Type in font size 22 or more like/ "Two photos for Kuro" and then staple the envelop in the centre of the page and attach that page in the file as the attachment. Do not the forget that photo on the back should have name of the photographer , Date photo is taken(it should be fresh and bot later then 6 months) and write your name and DOB.

Read the specification and you will see that we only need to print the name of ourselves, NO DOB is needed.
The photographer need to provide his studio name/address and date.

And I don't know where do you see the requirement to staple the envelope in the center of a page..not to mention Size 22...so you think CIC will return your package if you print your name with 21.5?

There is no need for multiple threads.So there is no need of your idea.

(note: you cannot "get success".You can "be successful" you can "succeed" you can "reach success" etc..)

Important Info on the citizenship application forms page of CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/adults.asp

New requirements for Canadian citizenship are coming soon
This could affect your application if CIC receives it on or after June 11, 2015.
Applications made using current application forms must be received by CIC on or before June 10, 2015, and be complete. CIC will not consider the date of mailing (postmark). If you cannot submit a complete application before June 10, wait to submit an application until on or after June 11, 2015. New application forms must be used if submitting an application that will be received on or after June 11, 2015.

Hi I left a couple sections blank cos they are not applicable to me, such as name change, child information. Will CIC return the application?
