When did they receive the new application? I'll gladly update the info for you, but for the sake of statistics (the averages and whatnot) and accurate representation, I think it's better to put down the date they received the application which got the AOR for as to not give the sense that the AOR is for the May one when it's not.

I'm confused. To know when you mailed your application I decided to check your old posts and according to them you actually re-submitted it on July 17th, and they received it on the 20th - not July 9th. Could you please clarify which info is the correct one so I can continue to update your status accordingly?

Addendum: I went ahead anyway and then also saw you had put a note about having submitted it on July 20th, so I guess it's all correct.

shahram, if you provided an email they will email you the AoR but sometimes they make mistake by typing your email wrong.
If you didn't provide one then they will snail mail you.
One way to check if CIC sent you an AoR is to check eCas website.

How come all the test dates were removed from the tracker? Before there were 4 people (all from Vancouver; 2 who already took the test, and 2 going to take it in a few days), now there are none. Their names are still there, it was just the test date that got removed.

Just checked Ecas (it got activated today) and although the returned application was sent back in July, Ecas has the original received date of May 27th on it. Not sure if this affects things but it sounds like CIC is treating it as a May application still
