Hey, a quick question if you allow me to ask. Why did you apply with 1139 days of presence while knowing that the rules would change soon. You could have applied with 1095 + 5/10 days.

I am curious as I did the same too. I had a lot of out of country travels in the past so decided to have a 4 week buffer.

I thought I can only apply on June 17, than on may 27 I realised I can apply earlier because i had been here before pr on a work permit, so on may 28 I applied...

I am in a similar situation. I applied with around 1380 days. I could have applied in September 2014. And the reason I didn't is very simple: I am not a smart man. And because I am REALLY not a smart man, I applied May 21 by no express mail, so they received my application only on May 27.

Keep Calm May Batch things might get a bit slower as they went past the cut off date so a huge influx of applications might have been mailed and it will take them maybe close to a month to just get things back to normal, summer is already here some staff may go on vacation so I expect the overall progress to slow down a little. On a more positive note this week 2 people from late April the April 27th to 30th section got AoR's so they are moving but just a fair warning it might slow down so don't stress too much on it go about and enjoy life it will happen as it happens.

Thanks! =) It was signed DL. On the Canada post website it looked like David Law or something but that is very likely to be wrong. So, I'll stick with DL =)

Haha. Yeah DL would be cool. I know someone is tracking this and in his observation, app received by person "D" have an earlier response rate.

Did you just get regular email with AOR (like received by earlier folks) or anything new as your might be the first AOR after June 11th
