from my knowledge, may-june applicants from London are still waiting.. i saw your older posts, for Pakistani applicants it can maybe take a little while longer, from what i know you get 2 Passport requests and have different background/eligibility checks etc. better search for a thread specifically for Pakistan applicants going through London, they sure know more.

I can't find a thread that states anything similar. i ordered notes after which i got request for medical and rprf which i hear is the final thing before they ask for passport. Im assuming other documents are complete because we hired a lawyer to help us finalise the documents

well it is theorethically true, these are the final steps before PPR .. i guess it could take around 3-4 weeks to finalize everything. it's just that i'm not so sure in your case.

I usually post in the Mexico thread and in my case it took 5 months from the final step before PPR (a request to submit the Mexican police certificate, which Mexican applicants cannot submit upfront) to actually get it. A couple of us applying through the Mexico City VO had the criminality and security checks started first, THEN assessed for genuineness of our relationship. Have you sent a case enquiry or an email to your VO asking what's the hold up?

I wasn't aware that some VO's take longer to finalize after requesting for RPRF and Re-Medical. This certainly means longer wait time.

Our lawyer told us that he sent in an inquiry and they said that all my documents are complete and i can get the passport request any time now but haven't heard from them yet. Also, the CIC website states that for permanent residents it normally takes 3 months after medical and for other temporary residents, students and visit visas it takes 4-6 weeks. I got medical and RPRF request on Feb 4th and did Medical on Feb 16th. It's going to be 3 months soon.

It really depends on the visa office as to when they ask for the passport. For instance, I know the Manila visa office asks for the passport very early in the process and it is not uncommon for people whose applications for permanent residence are processed there to be without their passports for several months. In my case all my documents were complete as of early December last year, and it was not until a week ago that I received the passport request - many other people with applications in the same visa office as mine have had the same thing happen. If I'm not mistaken, the London visa office has slowed down even for UK citizens and I know there is at least one Brit in this forum who has been waiting for over a year and has still not received PPR.

I would say not to get too hung up on when you're supposed to get PPR - I did the same thing and it was just needless worrying. When you least expect it, it'll happen. Unfortunately with CIC, everything goes into a black hole and there is no way of telling (for sure) when certain milestones in the process will be reached.

Hi,u r not alone with that timeline
I got RPRF request on Feb 11th,remedical request on Feb 20th
I did remed(emedical)on Feb 23th and it'll be 3 months soon,no PPR yet.

I hope so Our cases are in the final steps,cause I know that after paying RPRF and remed is PPR,,and it won't be too long anymore,,So we will hear good news soon Good luck to u and all of us)))

Hey GMG - I was surprised to read that it has been 3 months since you did your re-medical and you haven't heard about your PPR yet . Now its worrying me, we did our Re-Med on 13th April , thought it would be a month before we get PPR. But now it is getting me a little anxious

Hi Impresso,,,Yes,it's almost 3 months and nothing,,,Don't worry,u will get urs soon,,I hope u get urs very soon.
I think that smth is wrong with my case cause it is not typical for Warsaw VO(and for most VOs) not to hear 3 months after remedical and providing passport copies(Warsaw always requests copies first then a little later original).It is 9 months on CIC website and mine is going to be 9 soon.We told our lawyer to Email them hoping to get an answer to know about the reason of delaying and taking that long.
We r also told that it happens(Ours is EMEDICAL) and that it can take 3 months but as I have noticed it rarely happens.If it is like that,means mine is in that ''rarely'' lol.

I just think they can't digest issuing visas on time. They're so used to irritating people now.
