Here's my update. My app went to second review in Dec 2014. They asked for more UK Police information last month, once I pass this on I will be good to go . GL all.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on June 25, 2015.

3. Medical results have been received.

My 2nd review due date is July 10. Whens yours? I know I'm losing hope in this whole thing too. I called the agent and she said she has sent the VO a note to see why its taking so long and told me to wait for their reply. I doubt i'll get anything. Arwy and Amrinder123 - we should keep in touch to see when they get MR.

I'm starting to get my PNP application in just in case.

Hey Zoey, any backup plan is always a good idea. I have good news. I received Right of Permanent Residency Fee request and paid it today. CIC didn't ask me for Medicals. I hope it can see it under my UCI. If it asks, I will email the results that I have. You should hear something shortly. And I suggest you call the call centre to check what's taking so long. I call the Call Centre last Friday because 13 months have passed, and I received an email from CIC today around noon. Magic! I don't thinks it's a coincidence. I think the call centre agents can somehow reach out to the visa office, even if they don't advertise this. Good luck!

Wow thats great Arwy! Congrats, you're one step closer. Thats weird they don't ask for your medical at all.

I called CIC agent 2 weeks ago and she said she sent the VO a message abt my app and told me to wait for reply. I haven't received anything from them until now. I'll wait till end of July to send them an email myself. Don't wanna be a pain sending too many messages lol

I am working in Canada now.I am applying the BOWP for me and my wife.
My wife is in China now. We plan to apply a visitor visa for her as the PR is not avilable in few months.
My question is how my wife can get the BOWP.
If she came Canada before BOWP approval with only the visotor visa, how could we get her BOWP as she will in Canada at that time?
If she came Canada after the BOWP approval, Where can she get the BOWP from?
If she stay in China and wait for the BOWP, will CIC sent the BOWP to her by mail?

how many may applicants are waiting for PPR after completing medicals ?

I fin my medicals in feb 2015 and its been 5 months now and there is no sign of PPR, RPRF was paid upfront.

ECAS was updated to "medicals received" by mid june.

ECAS status just changed to "In process" on July 17th. I can only hope this is a good sign since i've had medicals etc done since December!
