guys not sure whats going on. my application was received on 2nd May'14. more than a year now, still same status "application received".

same here... dont worry... hope you had completed medical and RPRF... and waiting for PPR...
did you see any due date in your GCMS that would explain at least by when they would touch our file for further updates.

nopes... just waiting like few others. not sure what the result will be. so thought of once they will ask for medical and RPRF then I will proceed. My status is still the very initial one.

i would suggest to go for upfront medical and RPRF as i have seen its working for many of them. you would have 1 year of validity for medicals. RPRF is any ways refundable... no issues in paying upfront...

Similar situation here and my application was received May 1st but luckily enough I have my Medical done since December. I am from UK so patiently waiting for my payment request.

yeah guys i agree, my timeline was may 29th received. thats the only update on ECAS, but i got MR and did it was sent by feb 15th..no update about "medicals received" on ecas like it is suppose to happen, i sent an email to CIC and they confirmed to be that they have received my medicals. this is the exact wordings of the mail i got:

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your email. We confirm receipt of your medical results.
The processing of your file is following its due course.
An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application.
We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.

so i paid rprf upfront and waiting for further updates.

Hi All,

There is no update on my file since may 23rd 2014.
I created a GCMS request and got reply saying " employer letter dates are inconsistent with the actual work permit" and i sent them an updated letter last month and created one more GCMS request but still the status on my file is same.

Can you please advice what i can do now?

while you are waiting for 2nd review, go for upfront medical and pay upfront rprf. It will save a lot of time.

You need to find out exactly what the discrepancy is about only then we can assist... otherwsie it will be all guess work for multiple scenarios.

Just found out that a lot of guys (June applicants) are getting RPRF and PPR's ,check their post and spreadsheet. not sure whats goin on with May applicants..shouldnt they be clearing applications in order they were received? Looks like they have completely ignored May applicants for now...may be they want to get their numbers right (80% applications in 12 months) .Hopefully they will get back to us asap :'(

Any thoughts from any of you guys !!!

When July applicants got their RPRF and PPR's I said the same thing ;D
I'm still waiting for mine also, hopefully before end of May many of us will receive it.

My upfront medicals were uploaded last week and I paid my rprf also.

I emailed the medical cover letter to cic also and got an immediate response from the vo.

Let's hope that it may speed my process up through the second review. I'm from uk so all I need now is CoPR. Wish me luck.
