Hi Everyone,

I have been watching this forum for a few months now and would like to join the chat. This should help me with the waiting process as it is KILLING me!!!. CIC received my application on May 14, 2014 and Medicals were requested for my wife and I on December 31, 2014; Ecas shows that medicals were received.
It has been awhile and I have not heard anything from CIC and I only have 5 days till I reach the average processing time of 12 months.

Any thoughts? :)

We started processing your application on April 2, 2015.

I received GCMS and they said that my work experience is less than 12 month. Reason is that I received study permit 10 days before the end of the period of 1 year work experience that I claimed.

RECOMMENDATION: REVIEW REQUIRED BY OFFICER . Is that means "second review"? What is the second review?

I just can't get it. If VO said I have less than 12 month and I am not eligible, so why they keep me still in process?

Really disappointed. >:( >:( >:(

Seniors, what should I do in this case? I didn't know that ones you received another permit, the previous ending immediately in the same day. This is only 10 days difference. I didn't have vacation during that 1 year period of work experience and I worked 40 hours per week, so indeed I reached the minimum hours. And my payroll shows exactly 1 year of work.
Usually the 1VO who reviews your app is a junior. They have a guideline and if everything appears clear and fits they generate MR. If not, they pass it to a more senior VO. It has to be reviewed several times before reaching final decision. You should wait until they get back to you. If you doubt your eligibility, start creating your profile on EE now. Im on the same boat, they said i don't have one year of work exp...no idea why. But i'm still waiting.

Hi,

One thing that I don't understand is how come you have only 5 days left to reach average processing time as yous application received by CIC on May 14. You still have 1 whole month to wait... Keep faith you are almost there.

Email them and ask what the delay is.

Thank you zoey0801, you are 100% correct. Looks like it was junior.
I called to CIC and they said that you can hold two permits in the same time, so VO's decision isn't right.
Hope senior VO will make the right decision because this is not about 1-10 days difference, this immigration is about professional skills of PA.

Oh I forgot to tell everyone I finally received my PPR yesterday and they were shipped to them today :) I hope and pray everyone gets them soon.

Hi all got our passports back today will do the landing tomorrow!!
