sohal153 - i have sent my sons birth cert, passport copy, IMM0008 forms via e mail. I have sent hard copies of the same with 4 photos and also included PCC for my wife and myself. The mail says they will take 20 days to respond, so i am assuming they will get to it in 20 days and update the records and should be around 30 days.
but i have also sent a set of hard copies, so not sure if that will expedite the process of adding the details to my application.
How did u send it ? email or hard copies?

I have send the hard copies for generic application/additional information and Birthcertificate to CIC.

Hey Guys,

I did receive medical request on 24 Dec and did medical on 5th Jan, Doctor said that it has been uploaded on 12th Jan. But my ECAS status is not updated, it only says application received on May 16th.
Can you please let me know is it normal to take this much of time for the status change on ECAS.

Thanks

I did it again anyways. I consulted a lawyer and he adviced me toborovide CIC with new fingerprints. I think its better to give them again.

Hi,
send the original PCC to:
Case Processing Center – Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West, 7th floor, section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1
Canada

Don't forget to provide:
Last name
First name
Date of birth
UCI
Application No.
Type of Application (Canadian Experience Class – CEC)
Thanks Nov1061!

On the RCMP note you guys are talking about about - I thought the RCMP only makes you finger print only if there's a possible match http://www.ottawapolice.ca/fr/about-us/resources/Sections-and-Units/Criminal_Record_Check_2011_e.pdf

I did the record check and they didnt have my fingerprinted.

I sent the same police clearance certificate with my application from peel police based on name and addresses and they didn't find anything.
Now we got the rcmp finger prints request. Lawyers recommend you to send the rcmp fingerprints with the application. My friend who applied through lawyer sent it with the application.
