file was missing copy of original birth cert.(native language).
they mentioned in notes that if i am unable to provide them the copy of original version, i can send an affidavit that has following info (my name, DOB and parents' names).
so second time i provided them an affidavit from lawyer as asked.

Why was your file returned?

i got file returned and resubmitted on 14th May, received on 15th May.
waiting for the spreadsheet to reach me.
i have been checking with bank about the draft. no update yet.
i hope they would cash it by next week.

nice to see some recent updates on spreadsheets.

when did you apply originally? im just wondering about the timeline for checking and returning documents

They received my file on 28th April originally.

They checked forms with pencil marks on each and every field on all the forms, and stamped.
and they attached letter stating what(B.Cert.) is missing. This letter had date(5th May 2014) on it.

And i received it back on 12th May(exact 2 weeks after).

noticed my CC charged on 2nd June, updated the sheet.

My application was received by CIC on May 5th. I got my cc charged on May 28th. waiting for aor..
did anyone receive the aor who applied around the same time?? how long they will take to send aor after charging cc?

2 of my friends got their CC charged on 15th may and got their AOR yesterday.
so average timelines looks 15-17 days after they charge.

My application was received by CIC on May 5th. I got my cc charged on May 28th. waiting for aor..

Application received by CIO on 07th May.

so average timelines looks 15-17 days after they charge.

For 1st batch April 2014 applicants it took average of 25 days to get AOR (since application date) whereas April 2nd batch of applicants seeing 35 days as avg time forprocessing. But i dont understand how come suddenly a delay of 10 days in processing.

Unhappy thing is that the delay continues to May applicants as well.

It's getting even slower for people that applied in May. I expect avg processing to be 40-45 days for aor in May

and another reason could be the number of application in last week of April was increased because of the news of caps to be reset from may.
I noticed that numbers are higher for applicants after 23rd April. And i think this delay may be temporarily.
For me, Days are longer to pass..

Agree, for me too. But there's nothing for us to do except sit and wait, and be positive..

May 2014 applicants can we try to update our information on the spreadsheet as soon we know something so the rest of the applicants can have peace of mind of what's its going on!

I think that people are updating spreadsheet, but the thing is that cic is working realy slow past few weeks
