you and i are the same pala.. im waiting for my wife to get here .. we never expected that our application will be prioritized. im actually a bit shocked.. as i was not prepared for her early arrival...i was expecting march ...personally.. I think they prioritized the application because of my wife's birthplace and her family being affected (directly) although my wife wasn't well shes one of the breadwinners of the family..so financially its staking a toll on her and on us. so I guess we are affected in some ways..but I don't think your application is on hold. in fact. its still below processing times. that should make you feel a bit comforted.

i'm sure that after the holidays, it will start to pick up..as for our DM status, we may not even get the visa until next year because its almost Christmas.

Hope so...i thought uve emailed them to expedite ur wifes application due to her other family whose been affected?And as I said I dont mind helping those people whose really been affected by Yolanda..However, i hope u understand how it feels if u put ur place to our situation whose been waiting for long and there are people whose been taking advantage of this case. Unfortunately we havent heard any Decision Made since they expedite OThers

yes i emailed but didn't expect a reply whatsoever until they replied back stating shes in priority.. what ammi gonna do say no to that LOL!. i can understand everyone's frustration here of waiting. its not like none of us waited. we all waited. is just some do get it faster than others. I can understand if you have waited more than two years. We passed our immigration papers in may in fact im the first one In may to be inputted in that spreadsheet.. As for waiting..we got married in 2012 of january.. ( we had to wait until 2013) just to make sure that our relationship was valid to the eyes of the Canadian government.. (which I find stupid)

To be honest with you, if all of you went ahead of me because of Yolanda or just because your application was more straightforward, I will not in any way ostracize you , I would just congratulate you and ask all kinds of questions just I can feel comforted knowing our papers will be next.

I just dont like the generalization and the instigation of yolanda victims just because one person decided to parade their visa to everyone.... we all have our trials and tribulations in life..I think the best thing to do is just to congratulate them, find as much information as possible to help and then share it with other people..

You don't need to explain.... you don't owe an explanation... Nobody even know what's going on inside CEM and what causes delays if there are any (14 months processing time)... Everybody is just speculating... Congratulations!
