Sorry was writing this on my phone so missed a question. Max vacation length was 3 weeks.

I think RQ is random. I know people that spend more time on vacation( more than 3months) and they didn't receive RQ. At least, you know what next.

Sorry, kenyadian. I sent my application the day I clocked 1095. I am hoping RQ won't be issue since I did 3 years full-time study here in Canada and only travelled twice for vacation during break.

Hi Woodex - I hope you attained 1095 days at least a day before you signed application.

Thanks for answering the questions, appreciated.

Can you also tell us if you are a consultant. Doesn't necessarily have to be self employed.

No, I didn't! :P :P :P :P :P
Though, my application was returned because of passport bio, so I reprint the residency form and make correction based on the note I found in the returned form. I think I am good with the date because the agent corrected my landed date.

Does it mean that there are three type of RQ - initial from Sydney, then another from the local office and late - that can be issued at the test day?

I think so. I had the exact same question.

oh man! kenyadian hope your application moves fast regardless of the RQ.

I am a bit worried. Can't hide it. I travelled for work a lot. But I also got married in my wife's country. We planned our wedding from Montreal and then we went to my wife's country for 1 month. That's the most I have been outside the country. I am not sure if being married to someone from a totally different culture could spare me the RQ.
kenyadian. do you check your online application status frequently? does it show that an RQ was issued.

I do check my application status frequently. There is no indication of the RQ online.

Hey everyone,

I haven't had a chance to call CIC in the last ten days after I sent a letter to Sydney inquiring about my case, Looking at my schedule, the earliest I will be able to call CIC would be next Thursday. Until then, God bless!

I guess u should reapply ASAP to avoid further delay.

Just noticed on my e-cas that the click-able "Received" line has been disappeared.

A sign of file transfer? there is a mix reaction on disappearing of the "RECEIVED" line though it seems that these reactions are leaned towards the transfer of file to local office. So keep finger crossed.

Mine too. Just checked now and the "Received" row is gone? Should we call CIC to check if our applications were transferred? Or should we give them a bit of space :P

What's your local office chandu007? mine is Montreal.
