I contacted CIC couple of times recently and was told that local office should schedule the exam within 9 months after receiving the file. In my case this period elapses in August, 2014.

Has anybody got similar response?

Same here, Simkr!

I have to leave for a conference next month. hope i wont be called for exam. Saskatoon office is pretty slow so i guess i shouldn't be much worried about that.

Thanks Simkr, for the update.

If you will be out for more than two weeks, I recommend you notify CIC before leaving to avoid test date during your time off.

I wouldn't worry about it all. One week is very little time.I wouldn't worry about it

How was your test, touché?

Test went well thanks (20/20). Had the interview before the test and that was fine too. The officer did check all my stamps against the absences listed in the residence calculator printout. Now waiting for the oath invite which we were told should arrive in 1-3 months. Best of luck!

Any update from Woodex, ram_v, sondo, kalbad20, simkr?

Nothing from my side expect that I torment CIC officials by sending unrequested documents. I know they will be wandering ::) ::) their minds why these documents.

Great news, touché.

Do you mean that you keep sending them docs? or there were unnecessary docs with your application?

Yes, I did! I just felt like updating my documents since I changed school.

They are necessary docs as far as I'm concern. I just want them to dust off my application. :D :D :D
