Hello Guys,
I was getting really worried about my timeline... though I just found out my application is "in process" as of February 10, 2014.
Btw, I have not been asked for any additional document but it shows so on the spreadsheet ;)
Thanks,
good news :)

i still have the same worries as my application is still showing "Application Received" and i did not receive any request for additional documents from CIC also.

i only sent PCCs early december 2013 to CIC that i could not get at the time of package submission.

Kelper, did you submit any documents?

Yes, Xpresspost is the best option. The size of the envelope should be mentioned in the E:mail itself. Check documents required section for that. Make sure you fold your prepaid envelope inside your Xpresspost envelope. I would say include a copy of the PPR E:mail sent to you by them and if you have any dependents who are not in Canada with you, then write covering letter stating why their Passports were'nt sent and to kindly make arrangements in a visa office in their respective country and so on. Have you already sent ?

Hey, No I did not submit any docs. But I know that the correspondences will be recorded on your notes. So, if they receive an additional doc from you, it will be recorded in GCMS notes and that's the only way for you to make sure it has been received. And, you can find out when your file is transferred o Ottawa. I've got my notes for mid Jan, and in there it was noted that my files were transferred late December...

Does you ecas show Medical received!?

yeah .. ecas shows Medical Received since Oct.15, 2013.

Since then no change :(

I did not order GCMS notes yet .. i am waiting for any change for a while otherwise i will order them ..

but in your notes, did you see anything that shows why it took more than the normal time to transfer the file to ottawa and change status into "in process"?

Another question Kepler ..

you found out this based on what on ecas? if so when your case changed into "in process"?

it is only 6 days difference between our AOR date, so i am trying giving myself hope by knowing your case update :)

I didn't find any suspicious entry so I could relate it to the delay. Though, I have my wife in my application and all of her entries in the notes were blanked (removed)! I thought if I apply for notes for myself, I will be getting everything. But apparently you should request the notes for each person! So I am not sure if something on her side could have caused the delay.
But since you are saying you have submitted the PCC some while ago, that could be the reason behind this delay. If I were you I would have requested the notes. Remember that they will arrive in a month from now. That is the only way for you to get some insight into your application. Comparing with other timelines doesn’t always work ;)

And regarding your second post above, Yes I just checked my Ecas status on that date and found out it went into process as of Feb 10. But don’t worry, hopefully your application will turn into “in process” in coming days.

At times Meds Received and In Process are updated in the same week. Mine also had App received for a over a month even after my meds were recd. The system I guess takes time to update. I have gone through that so I suggest you need not worry. Contact your Doc and ask him if your meds have been sent, if he says yes then relax.

My application status on ecas showed "Medical received" since October 15, 2013 but status did not change to "in process" yet .. it is 4 months now since "medical received"

thanks for your reply .. i know that comparing with other timelines is not right .. i dont want to order the notes which may cause more delays to my application ..
what is the status of the checks (as medical , security ...) in your notes? really i am confused when it comes to the roles and responsibilities between NS CIO and CPP-ottawa.

so as i undestand, your ecas changed to on Feb.14, 2014 "in process" and stating "we started processing your application on Feb. 10, 2014", right?
