THEY RECEIVED MY FILE ON MAY 27 AND I SENT TO NOVA SCOTIA. THEY TRANSFERRED TO CPP OTTAWA

march, could you update it with PPR please?
I feel nothing special, just "at last". I have another application under CEC almost finalized, now hesitating should I send passport right now or get another PPR and send there? No province restriction under latter.....
Believe me or not, it's not the easiest moment. But better than without PPR

Since they have made a decision on one application, they might probably just withdraw the CEC file on their own when next your file is brought up for treatment. I know how it can be. Problems are in stages and degrees...at a point it was PPR, but now it the option of the PPR under which categories to use...

Great, your timeline is pretty much the same as mine. Except my file was transferred on November 20 to CPP-Ottawa.

received passport with visa on feb 14, 2014

went to us-canada border in coutts, alberta feb16 to do landing and finalize immigration.

relieved that it's finally over.

wife and i now can buy the house we've been looking into for the past few months. ;D ;D ;D

You may want to look on or around pg#2 of your notes, under section "APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT", to see any details next to 'assigned to' or '...... by' or 'due date' - this is the information that 'could' tell you your tentative date of completion - the other due date are relevant to respective assessment - and i think you dont see any thing under 'security', as its classified information !!

Hi SaiSivaram... I just got my GCMS notes.. the 'assigned to' and 'due date' field is blank. Over all it says eligibility, criminality and meds are a pass. In the 35th page, under the notes, it gives a brief description about my case, eligibility passed, blah blah blah... and finally there is a line which says 'security review is outstanding'. what does this mean? does is it mean they haven't started yet or its pending?

Security will be initiated after ur file goes in process, I think they are waiting for u r security report, all checks completed file goes to officer for a review, then officer takes a decision on u r file

Did you check page no 7 under admissibility ? Check that and tell me what it says...
