Thanks kjjo and sivaram for your information.First i have to wait for my ppr.I guess i have to wait until February based on the timelines of april batch.

In my case.

I have requested the GCMS notes a few days ago. Usually, it takes about 30 calendar days. So, I am expecting them by early Feb.

I never received the RPRF request after 3 weeks that my application went IN PROCESS. So, that was very weird. Anyone has the same experience?

Regards,

AN

Hello 'andersfok' - as per the 'general' trend, you should hear from CPP-O regarding RPRF payment by now because, like you said, its been 4 weeks from date of IN PROCESS. but i would assume the holiday time would have delayed the process. Hang tight my friend you will hear from them soon.

Also, i saw people getting RPRF close to or at the same time of PPR - so need not to worry.

Hope so the CIC guys have shrugged off their new year clothes and are back to working mode by now... ;)

SSR - yeah, while some get RPRF and PPR together as well. Every case is different and every visa officer is different than the other. Just ordered my GCMS notes. Wanted to see how much work has been done so far. Hopefully a VO has been assigned to my file so I can assume i'll be getting my PPR soon. Any of you guys received your GCMS ?

I mentioned the results of my notes couple of pages back. I received them December 19. All assessments have been passed but application has not been assigned to anyone and doesn't have due date yet. I didn't pay attention to it first until I read your post. I felt that it was one step away from PPR. Should I order another GCMS or will it just prolong my processing and I better wait?

Hey guys, a quick question. I am applying for my Bridging Open Work Permit. I was wondering if there is a separate form for it or is it the same one "5710E". How do we let them know that we are applying for a Bridging Work Permit ? Do we write a covering letter and let them know. Besides my Full Time work I also work a part time job. Do I need to show them the offer letter for my part-time job as well ? Any one else who has applied please let me know.

Thanks

Whoop...i got the information on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob485.asp

So I believe we have to submit whatever is asked on the checklist. Anything else besides that to make sure that they know I've applied for a Bridging Open Work Permit ?

Let me know..Thanks

immigrationaspirant, there are couple of topics about BOWP already. Why don't you spend time to read them and post your question there, where it's up to place? It's off-topic here :-X

No i didnt order for one recently - my last GCMS notes was extracted in the last week of November - i am not planning to order for it any time soon; i believe, some one has to pick our application file to extract the notes, so this may delay the process (not very significantly, but who knows... your VO may be looking at your file the same time !!!) - so i would pass over for now !!

Please share your GCMS notes once you have it.
