Hello and thank you for well wishes!Whizz said:Hi Pebbles,
Congrats on your application.
Please the only main problem I have right now is related to what you have just mentioned:
After your brother-in-law gave you the money, for how long did you leave it in your account before you printed your account statement and submitted your application?
It is actually my brother that wants to add to my money too, but he wants to know how long the money has to stay before I print out my statement of account.
I told him a week.
Kindly help me with this question.
Thank you.
I think he's the same person who received mine before...did you use FedEx? I hope this assures you that you sent your app the right way. I've observed in other forums that AORs have not been received for as long as 70 days.barkley said:No AOR more than 61 days

My brother-in-law did not give me money for our proof of funds. My husband has an existing savings account in his name but is being maintained by his sister which always had enough money to show as proof of fund for our application.
I'm not sure on how long you should keep the money in the account but since our application calls for us to submit 3 months' time of bank statements, I think it would be safe to have the money for 6 months but print out your statement in between those 6 months so that it would not be so obvious that money was just put in there for that purpose.
Also, try to stagger the transactions because visa officers appreciate an account that is moving or has had a number of transactions within a span of time which proves that it is an active account and was not opened to just put money in. You can move the money in and out of the account in that span of time for as long as when you submit your application, it will show the money that is required for you to have.
I hope this helps with your query.
Thanks jane! God bless all our application.JaneSmith said:You will receive AOR after 55 to 60 days
Dexter was also the one who received my application at CIO.
