MAY 2013 APPLICATION

Yay guys just got my passport back along with the CoPR!

But the copr looks nothing like what i anticipated thou..two regularly printed paper(a little bigger than A4) and one of them has my photo sticked on bottom right corner, and maybe cz the papers didnt enter the printer at a correct angle, everything printed out are not aligned with the edge of paper lol
(thought it's gonna be a fancy piece of paper with all those official stamps on it, at least like one of those study/work permits)

I received PPR email on 3rd evening and i xpressmailed-Canadapost PPs on 4th morning
5th Noon Ottawa received PPs
today - 6th March 2014 -- my return xpresspost tracker is activated..waiting at the frontdoor to receive the jackpot tomorrow

Hopefully landing on weekend!!!

A long and arduous, sometimes stressful, phase is coming to end.

Will be planning to land at Rainbow bridge -- but i heard a member on this forum who showed up on weekend was asked to come during the weekday for landing ..

any updates on schedules from members who have landed recently are appreciated.


All my family memebrs have US visa -- is it advisable to cross the border or just turnback and do the landing

seniors may post some guidance.. thanks guys for lending shoulders and this forum has been my virtual support system
through this phase.

Why I did not used Canada post return envelope ,, whyyyy I paid extra 40 bucks to UPS to get it back faster for return envelope... but damn CPC don't like UPS .. My passport reached on 3rd March 9.30 am.
I dont know how long its gonna take thru regular post. I am just so frustrated right now .. :-[

I had my WP stapled to my passport, they took it away and kept it.

Me too... They took my work permit... But i have a copy of it on the comuter. I do not think we will need it again

PR is just one hurdle in our lives and whether you like it or not after this comes more hurdles , problems and mountains to climb, citizenship is only the smallest of them.But stuff like this is what makes life worth living.Some guys have landed but they are still hooked to this forum.Those who are still waiting, do not get depressed but instead enjoy the moment.

Because i spent some time in the usa cic requested fbi fingerprint and i got that and sent them couple of days ago.
When do you think i will receive my ppr?
What is next ecas status? Is it only decision made or application complete as well?

I positive the next ECAS is "Decision Made". HighPark its difficult to predict the PPR date. I know few of our fellow members (iKhalid, msaeti & myself) who have sent additional documentation and are still waiting for PPR. Stay strong and there is nothing to worry, FBI report is just another PCC since you have lived in USA. Can you please share your timeline if you dont mind?
