I am not sure whats in store.

My ecas changed to Decision Made on Feb 23. I still haven't heard anything from CIC... Hopefully the wait will end this week!

"medicals received and we made a decison and our office will contact.....:I submitted my medicals on 11th feb 2014.

GUYS forgot about the ECAS update.
i got email for PPR when ECAS shows IN Process (we received ur application on xxxxx, not even medical recevied)
so i dont think they'll update ECAS on a daily basis.

Hi All

I got my passport back at 11:29 am today. I will dress now and leave to Sarnia to do Landing. Finally it is officially over.

I am now Dancing on the table... Oh Canada.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D 8) 8) 8)

Thanks to all of you.. i landed at Blue Water Bridge on Sarnia, Ontario at 8 pm.

I got my passports back from Ottawa at 11:30 am then went to border and I arrived to the border at 5 .. went to the us and got an admission Card.. then went had lunch in a restaurant there. At 730 headed back to Canada.. Landed with my 3 dependents.. the officer was Awesome

By 810 pm we were done and out.. no ome else was there except for us ;D I just gave her the COPR and my work permit. Signeda couple of signatures and left.. wind was blowing and temperature was -21.. but we were so happy and excited..

I Am now a happy permanent Canadian Resident..
The visa for permanent residency is one time entry Visa and it is valid till one year from the date they got ur medicals at. Mine were received 8-2-2014. So my visa was valid till 8-2-2015 , which is only 11 months onstead of 12. So those who do upfront medicals has much less time om their visas to land.

Folks who completed visa stamping and landing, can you please advice if you sent 2 photos along with the passport when you got the PPR request. I didnt see any mention about photos in the PPR request however few of my friends told me that the photos need to be sent along with passport as ultimately these photos will be used in COPR and PR card (which eventually comes after 3 months). Can someone please advise.

Great question, I was wondering this myself. It sounds like at some point you must submit your passport. I was wondering also how long it takes to get it back. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.
