I actually emailed them twice, once to check for PCC docs and the other email was a 3 days ago to check if everything so far is received and got the reply yesterday. In both cases, they replied within 3 days.

I mailed my police report by regular mail to CPP Ottawa's address.
Is there a problem with that?I ask because I did not get a confirmation that it was received even though I have emailed them twice asking about it.

Great question, I was wondering this myself. It sounds like at some point you must submit your passport. I was wondering also how long it takes to get it back. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.

They wouldn't send a confirmation unless you ask. When did you send your emails?

From my little experience with CIC, they send emails in the afternoon and between 10:30 to 11:30 at night (EST). So expect something around that time today, hopefully.

It's weird that they updated ecas around 4AM. Did you also check during the weekend?

What happened in your case is that they made a decision on friday evening and apparently that is the date that Ecas is updated.
So lucky you saw it electronically first hand before the email will be sent out today.

Then I'm positive that you will be receiving an email this afternoon or tonight around 11PM. I could be wrong but I don't see why not.

Yes I included all that information.
BTW. For the document request, there is a first line that shows my UCI.Were they trying to request a document.They are confusing me.

"This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
Ø 12345678 -Karthirk ............ (Why is this line here?)

Ø Police Certificate: Provide an original police clearance certificate from *********. For more information, please consult the following website"

My status has been changed in between Sunday evening to Monday morning (4am)....
Hope decision will be positive
