Guys I'm starting to freak out a little! I sent Bio & Paid the fees on Feb 3rd and my status changed to medical received on Feb 16th and I haven't gotten my PPR yet!!!!
Is there a reason to refuse an application at this stage? I just want to put my mind at ease ???

You're not the only one here... I'm on the same boat. I really hope that someone would fill me in on what normally happens between MR received and PPR?
In addition, I also gave them the requested PCCs from back home on the 14th of Feb.

Is there a possibility of refusal, say after normal MR and clean PCC?

You might not have received PPR as yet since Criminality and Security checks are not complete. Highly unlikely that you would be refused at this stage. Hope you guys get your PPR soon.

Second that. Worst case they may be suspicious of something and they'll ask you for an interview. This is what happened to my friend and short after that he got his PPR.

Thanks wessless I hope you are right. PCC was requested and sent on Nov 29th, 2013 so I'm not sure how much longer do Criminality and Security checks need!
Hoping for the best to all of us :)

That wouldn't be too bad. I can deal with an interview, it's the wait that is killing me!

same situation for me also
medicals sent on 11th feb
rprf paid bio data sent on 27th jan 2014

they may not refuse pr for us at this stage but some background checks are pending i think

in my case they have not asked for rcmp and i am in canada for 3 years, is this something they missed or normal

waiting waiting

This is perfectly normal, they don't require RCMP in most cases.

I got this message after sending the Bio and RPRF:

"Thank you for providing the requested information."
Case Processing Centre - Ottawa | Centre de Traitement des demandes - Ottawa

But nothing else since.
