Hi Renata - Do u receive the MR? If so could you please share your time lines and NOC.

I did not receive my MR yet.

Application received: May 16th, 2013
AOR received: July 04th, 2013
RCMP request: November 29th, 2013

I just my fingerprints on January 08th, 2014 and my deadline is January 27th. I'm concerned that it won't be there on time.

Agreed. I wish the process of doing Upfront-Medical (UM) was crystal clear. The only reference I saw about UM was for family sponsorship. I see people frequently doing upfront medicals in Canada. But applicants who will be doing Medical outside Canada, may face the surprising look of their Doctor "You are requesting to do medicals exam without the Medical Exam Request??? Come back when you get your MR". And you cannot argue or show them any proof of Upfront Medical in CEC, cause it's not there.

Wish I knew more about doing MR outside canada!, as you say it sounds like they kinda screw people there.

Toby may even have a document on his website to help for upfront medical as I say maybe

The email from CIC said, "if you have already submitted, please ignore this mail".
I had actually completed RCMP and submitted in September '13. So I responded that I have already submitted. They have not come back since.

. I hope se more would over the next few days.. I am running out of patience.. Last night even i had a dream in which i was donig my MR and Landing and so and so.. till i woke up and found myself in bed late for work
