Hello,

I'm quoting my following question I posted a few pages ago because I just received a relevant email from CIC:

I have a question that worries me. When I submitted the application, I didn't include the security clearance from my home country as it's really hard to get one since I have to justify it and include the request letter with it. Not to mention that my home country doesn't approve duel citizenships or any lead to that. I'm still trying to find ways to get one nonetheless. So, will be getting a letter from CIC about it or would CIC reject my application all together?!

I'm currently living in Canada and I've been here for 9 years continuously. I came here when I was 23 so according to the rules I still have to provide one.

Your advice to this matter is greatly appreciated.

1- Please provide an original Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from ..... (an expected request, no problem)
2- Another PCC required for my wife (I thought only the principle applicant has to submit a PCC!)
3- RPRF: Please pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee. (What does this mean when requested? Isn't this supposed to be paid after the medicals? Not that I'm not liking it, as for some reason it's giving me hope )

Please advise.

. You need to privide them with a PCC for each individual who is an adult. So u need to send one for u and another for your wife.
2. When you receive a request for RPRF, it means that they looked at your file and you most likley passed eligibilty, so you will get a medical request within the next few days.. Mabrook.

Send all they asked for ASAP

I received my GCMS notes which were ordered on the 27- DEC-2013 , Generated on the 3-JAN-2014 and sent to me today.

Nothing was started except for having criminality in Progress.... I received my previous GCMS notes on the 27- December ... I wonder if i should just go ahead and order a new set of notes... Maybe i will wait till next week... :'(

I just ordered my 3rd set of GCMS notes now. There is nothing to loose from asking for these notes... if something wrong goes with my application, i need to know before they close my application... I will keep sending for GCMS notes monthly till this is all over...

3 minutes ago I received the MRs. So now I have to finish the process of the PCCs and MRs during the next 60 days . Wish me luck!

I was expecting the MR today, going by the trend. What I got instead was a request for T4s and NOAs for past two years - which I guess should alreadybe in their file.. so MR is some more days away.. Thankfully, they have asked it to be sent by email. Lucky me
