MAY 2013 APPLICATION

It looks like recently couple of members from May 2013 applicants received RCMP request from CIC. May be they just started to touch the May 2013 files.

Just wondering, what is the status in your ECAS: application received or in process?

Mine is still "App Received" . I got my RCMP request on Nov 29.

Also i wanted to ask
- I had done my Medicals upfront, i sent two emails asking confirmation if they received, but no response. Do you think they will respond?
- To my RCMP request, i attached the Canad Post Ack from Nov 14 that its received. (hope they will respond)

hi SINGHQ0G,

they usually do not acknowledge receipt of documents to better use their resources.do you prefer them to respond to you or keep processing applications i prefer the later hence the processing time will be faster for everyone.
it the tracking number of the shipment confirm documents received then you should not worry at all since your documents are on a safe hands now.
as for medical,doing upfront medical is at your own risk so it will not appear on your E-cas status before the visa officer issue a medical request for you,thats how they will link your medical results.
your eligibility is most likely hasn't started yet so you will not see medical received on your online status anytime soon but for sure your medical results are now processed by an officer at the RMC ottawa and sitting there waiting for a request from a cpp-ottawa officer.
for your peace of mind you can request GCMS notes anytime to see if your medical results and rcmp fingerprint have been received.

P.S: note rcmp fingerprint request does not mean eligibility is started,its run differently and they request it because their is a name match on the rcmp database so they want to make sure that you have no criminal record.

quick question. When ordering gcms notes...Do I select case files or corporate files? Case is individual information while corporate is briefing, police etc so i am a bit confused about that..Any help?

I Received my RCMP request just now via email. Already responded that i sent it upfront.

I got RCMP request on 29th and completed the process by 3rd. My ecas status is still " application received". My friend who applied in July 2013 also got her RCMP request.

Hi Bhoomi - I dont think the ecase status will change after sending the RCMP clearence certificate.
By seeing the trend - I would say the status will only change after yoyu receive medical or medical done

Correct. ECAS doesn't change after sending RCMP.

I am Sep 2013 applicant, I am planning to go my Home country in Feb , So thinking to do my RCMP upfront will it be a good idea?

As I fear, it might come when I will be in my home country.

if I send RCMP upfront will they consider it?

None of the July Applicants has confirmed about getting MR. It looks like a bad joke or something. It's just too good to be true keeping in mind the current time-frame....

Hi Guys - We should start applying for our GCm notes. I saw in this forum, July applicant eligibility is showing in progress and it recomended passed.
I have applied mine in last month and expecting in a week. I will keep you posted.
Please let me know if any one of our may group eligibility is in progress or recomeneded passed.
