So far all GCMS showed nothing done nearly.. i am expecting my GCMS next week but i dont think i will find anything
.. that's sad as when i saw them processing April this month.. i started dreaming of receving MR in January instead of March..

Who knows..

We will wait and see..

Received my GCMS today. No changes comparing to September notes, so they haven't got to my application yet.
Eligibility- Not started
Security- Not started
Criminality- In progress
Medical- Not started

Also, if there is no note next to some parameters, such as HIRV and Org. crime, does it mean they are not going to check them? There would be "Not started" otherwise to my understanding.
Does anyone from May applicants have more steps passed in GCMS?

I am a June applicant and I got my GCMS in December. Nothing has started except criminality. There are no notes in my GCMS for some of the parameters that you mentioned. May be nothing to be worried.

Do you see your attachments such as PCC in your GCMS note. For my PCC, it is 0. But I have sent them along with my application.

I have sent mine in too, but PCC is 0. I guess they haven't yet opened my application. From years of my observations, CEC is processed on the last moment, application is sitting in VO for many months, but when it starts- then MR comes- and then PPR, in just weeks or 1 month. It is contrary to PNP where application is started right after AOR with MR, assessments and RPRF - but after all is basically finalized people wait for many months for their PPR. MR is very good sign for CEC, too bad not yet for us, May applicants

Thank you for the information. It is a big relief to know about it. I was thinking whether I have to contact them regarding PCCs. I will wait. This is really a great forum to help each other.

When did you do medical ? Medical results are valid for 1 year. If application gets approved, visa will be issued with expiry = medical test validity. So, if you did medical early, you may run into very tight deadline for landing.

Reg your question: even if you informed cic about upfront medical, cic may still issue medical request. You may need to inform cic about upfront medical once again.

Hello Frnds - I also did my upfront medicals and informed the CIC as well about it.
After 2 weeks, I'm able to see under ecas as point 2 Medical Received.
But the status of ecase is still says application received which is as expected.

Hi, I did my upfront medicals on Nov 8. I sent two emails asking confirmation but didn't get any ack.

Even GCM$ notes also doesn't have details

Not sure if i should send any other email.

Same here. App received on May, 21 and that's it. No other info so far. I received notes but only criminality is 'in process', everything else is not started yet.

I just want to ask you why did you do your medical upfront? Should I do that and what are the benefits of doing that?

I decided to do it up front because we are planning to have baby. I don't know benefits as such. Better to do when they ask.

Better to wait till cic ask to do medicals.
