Thank you Kazmoj and Senior for the expert advice. This surely helps.!!

I've started looking into the World Forensic Services Inc now. 8)

I'll update you on how it goes, so that it will be helpful to others. I will consider putting it in a separate post for others as well.

Thanks!!

Wish you all the good luck people, things have started rolling!!

Just last couple of days, once it is over, we will hardly remember the pain of waiting.

I've got the medical request today.

But, they just sent me the form, IMM 1017 E (12-2012) GCMS, for me.
it doesn't have the forms for my wife and children. ???

In my email,

They only said,

"Information about E0000XXXX".

"This is an automated message. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message.
Dear Kozmoj,
Please find information concerning your application in the attached document.
"

It looks like, it is just notification of next process or information of my current state, not a request for medical examination.
Did you guys receive the same email for medical request?
and have the files for your family members as well?

In this stage,
Do I have to ask them to send the forms for my family?
or stay wait if they will send other files to me?

Anyway, I updated our timeline here.

My e-cas is still saying that my status is "Application received".
I heard that their update is quite slow.

Hi everyone,

They've updated mine: Medical recived

Anyone knows usually how long it takes to reach the next step?

:-)

Congratulations!
you never know, some people get a PPR here as early as 1 month after, and some have to
wait a couple of month or even longer.
best of luck, hope you get yours soon.

Hi

My application has been refused by CEC due to following reason (eventhough I resend new letter of refernce in Nov 2011):
"I am not satisfied that you meet the skilled work experience requirement because you do not have at least 12 months of full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work experience, in an occupation listed in Skill Type O Management Occupations or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification matrix after having obtained your degree credential. Your graduation certificate states you were conferred your degree in June 2011. From June 2011 to the date before your application for permanent residency, 18 May 2012, you acquired 11 months of full-time work experience."

They told me For Canadian Experience Class, only work experience obtained before the day of application is considered

Beside all this, I'm going to re-apply again in Feb 2013.

Just wants to update my old fellas!!

Best of Luck everyone!!

Hi Kaur13,

sorry to hear about your rejection, good that you will reapply soon.
Sorry I guess that you have other problems in mind but if by any chance you could share the code of the VO that handled your application (written at the end, in the signature field of the AOR)...

Already 4 rejections for May people....
