Congrats on your PPR! We have EXACTLY the same timeline, recieved AOR aug 22, received MR oct 22, but i dd my medical oct 31st, u were 2 days ahead of me, so im hoping to get my PPR in 2 days too!!! Fingers crossed!

no it hasn't, its been IN PROCESS.. some people said they have received PPR and their ECAS status didn't change until after a few days, so i guess its not updated very often. i emailed CPP ottawa a few days ago though and they confirmed that my medical result is on file. so hopefully ill also get PPR soon.

To toddmeng: I used general NOC for postdoc. My letters mentioned that I was a postdoc and my speciality, duties…

To Canadaman: We did our medical on October 29, 2012. The doctor said that he will send everything on November 2, 2012. My eCas has been updated “medical received” on November 28, 2012. I received PPR on November 29.

Can someone on this forum please explain that:

If my spouse apply for trv or open work permit alongwith my application and dont join me till 6 months, does it has some negative impact or it is ok. Or he can apply at some later date when he is willing to come. Please reply.
