this raises the number of May applicants who got that medical request whom we know of to 6, including the 3 from trakitt, Talaash, dancingpancake, and fatherabe99. I am absolutly certain that there are more who haven't informed us yet.

so glad to heard that some of May applicant's received their MR but still I'm one of those who patiently waiting for an AOR .Sometimes frustrated of how CIC process my papers.They are sitting the dreams of my 5 kids,me and my husband . Saving money to pay for a hundred bucks but until now I don't heard anything for them.They just encashing my hard earn money without looking out my application.

I expect us remaining ones to get AOR and medical at the same time.

same with me. i applied with my 2 kids in august and it hurts to see that all august applicants recieved their AORs and i am left out.. . My cc was cashed as well

I sent my application April 30,2012 and not May but I figured we are close enough to have some kind of comparison in our experience.

CURRENT STATUS IN PROCESS SINCE OCT 1,2012

Hi guys, have a small update.
My timeline:
filed: May 28th
AOR and transfer to CPP-Ottawa: Sept 27
Request of Police Certificates: Nov 1st,

so the good part the process is moving.
now my question is the following:
since I did not had the police certificates at the time of the application, they now want them.
I need the FBI clearance and a police certificate from my home country (russia).
I already got the FBI certificate, but the one from Russia takes a long time, I could have to wait another 3-4 month to get it, while the letter states that they MUST recieve it within 60 days.
Can I ask them to extend this period for the russian police certificate. I understand it will delay my process, but unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it . Do you guys think they will be understanding of my situation or they could reject my application if I don't provide them a certificate in time.
kind of stressing out about this one right now....

Yes, good thing is your application process is now moving forward.

In my personal opinion,
you can send them your FBI clearance and ask them to extend the date for your Russian police certificate.
I think they already know that it will take quite long time to get police certificate from certain country.
And one more option you can take is call Russian department for police certificate to ask boost up your police certificate application.

Actually, we don't have many option to choose, when they ask something to backup.
We can just follow their request as much as we can do.

thank you for your input! yeah, I will be sending my FBI clearance and will ask them to consider my situation, in the meantime, I will try to exhaust every possibility of getting the russian police certificate faster.
there must be a way I hope. Embassy can't help in this regard, cause their hands are tied with procedures.
anyway, I hope CIC will be understanding of my situation.

My question is are we settign the date from the time we mail/send the application or the day they receive it according to our courrier? because if you sent it on the 30th of April they probably received it in May so your place has been here all along.
