Breaking News! The approval email has finally arrived from Ottawa office but it was sent to my wife the principal applicant. The email was sent yesterday july 27 at 11:40am but she just read it today and forwarded the mail to me. I was happy but surprised that the mail went to my wife instead of me as her sponsor. Here is my timeline to be please added to the sheet.

UPDATE

Had my friend check my mail and the letter that they said was sent on ECAS was indeed dated 10 July saying I was approved as a sponsor.

So my package is on its way (or should be in) Singapore............... in a pile sitting on someones desk

On a different note....I have one question...After receiving AOR, when should I expect to get a letter of approval from CPC-M?

I was told in my AOR that the letter was sent on xxx date. So once they update in on ECAS then you should get it in the mail a week after that.

hey ceeallan.....can be anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks...and it might be an email and it might be regular mail....just start checking ecas you should be on the system in a couple of days!!!

If the lazy **** couldn't be bothered to properly count pages in my package the first time then I highly doubt it.

Like I said before I think my quick approval is simply because my case is not complicated and not much to 'double check' etc. so it was easy to rubber stamp and send off to the VO.
