So, I've been following this thread for awhile! It's great to hear about everyone moving forward in the process. I'm starting to believe that our application is stuck in some weird cubby of the closed Buffalo Office. You can add us to the document if you'd like. We sent in the package on May 3, 2012 and it was recieved on May 7, 2012. We have not recieved and AOR yet, sadly. I'm in the process of trying to talk to someone at CIC to shed some light.

Anyone else in this situation or know anything about? Good luck all.

Spoke with someone from CIC and she told me it's too early to expect AOR's and approvals since they're opening packages from april 17th right now. I mentioned the forum and dates and she suggested maybe the people on the forum had the wrong dates. That gave me a chuckle. Everyone here knows there stuff, rightfully so.

We received sponsorship approval today, July 24th! The fact that many of our fellow members received approval within several days from the AOR makes me worried. But let's have our fingers crossed for swift AORs and approvals for earlier applicants. CIC has weird order but your turn will come soon.

it seems like they splitted the applications... for now, they are working (from the spreadsheets) from beginning april towards end of april... logical. but also from Middle of may to end of May - not so logical as it seems that nobody from the beginning of may has been approved - so you are not the only one. CIC is inconsistent, and that's unfortunate as it places extra stress on applicants, but there is no much to do about it.

Hopefully they will get to the beginning of May applicants once they are done with April ( currently some 27th of April files have received approval... so they might be starting with beginning of May next week! but of course - that's only my guess, and I don't work at CIC!

But - keep hope, it's coming soon, and your application is most likely safe with the rest of May applicants that have not heard from CIC.

I have a question again this goes also for those people who's in Quebec, husband says he can't pay the fee online and just fill out the form with his credit card info and send it in, is that really how it goes? Its not the same as the CIC that we can pay right there and then online? I'll be waiting for your replies thanks!

We seem to have at least two spreadsheets and neither is updated.

To bonitanita: I don't think there is anything wrong with having the three spreadsheets in one as smvi did. He also seems to have stuff you have missed like mv709 who got approved

It's not missed. I specifically requested PMs for ss updates and NEVER get them.

Thanks alish. I sent my application on 5/22/2012 and received my AOR on 7/17/2012. I'm not sure how I can share the timeline like you guys. I heard I have to have around 10 posts to start that.

What is your Viso Office?
When did you send your application?
When was it rcvd by CIC?
