That's total BS if it's true. They should start with April...no question.

To begin approving end of May or June would be a huge slap in the face to all Canadian citizens waiting for sponsorship approval. It goes without saying, but I am incredibly pissed off at CIC for doing this to us.

My wife applied for sponsor spouse outland visa in may 2012 when she returned to canada, we got married in india in march 2012, but before marriage i and my mom apply for visitor visa to give her surprise in feb 2012 but i didnt mention that i know anyone in canada and i am going to visit her in canada. will this affect my application ? visitor visa got rejected.

it's hard to say that it doesn't suck having sent your application on may 5 and seeing approvals on early april and after 25 may...

We received AOR today, July 10! I am so thrilled reading that sponsorship approval would come soon after AOR! I really wish all the May applicants will receive their AOR very soon!
