We are entering June tomorrow....hope we start getting the sponsor approvals ASAP. I have been reading that most April applicants have their sponsors approved....the shortest approval time was 29 days.

we are thinking the same thing lol!!! June is our Month yippee!!!

It seems like there are not that many May applicants, well according to our list.
Maybe they just haven't found our forum yet.

But if that is the case, not too many, we just might blow through this thing quicker then we thought. ;D

malirca.. yeah

at the manila embassy i was the only May applicant lol... i hope it's low season for May so we could get our visa quicker lolz

I am hoping this will speed things up as well.

There is also a mail strike imminent so this may also speed things up because they (Mississauga) will not be receiving anything but apps sent through UPS, DHL, etc

The thing that worries me is ... will this affect the apps being sent to the embassies....do they use Canada Post to send these apps abroad?

Who knows...all I know...I am ready for my husband to be here....as I know the rest of you are just as anxious to be with your spouses.

It was 15 months and 4 days between trips last time...I really want the next trip to be him coming home with me!!

Best wishes "May"bies =)

I found some more May people on Trackitt
Maybe we should add them to our list so we know where we sit compared to others.

Hi. Long time lurker here. I finally got my papers sent off to Mississauga via courier on Tuesday 19th May. I have no idea if they have arrived as I am too stressed to check.

If all goes well my application will go to the London Office. I'm here with my partner in Canada already as I met him while here on a study permit. :)

Still having regular freak outs thinking I forgot something or said something wrong in the application.

Thanks malirca,

I just realised I was looking at the wrong calender and I didn't send my application off until 25th May. Very, very stressed lol!

Hi Eswiz!
Just seen that you're in the same boat as I am and, as it seems so rare on these boards, I just wanted to say hi!
I haven't applied yet (will be in mid-July when we become common-law) but I'm also living in Canada at the moment and will be applying through the London office. Bit scared of the prospect of having to leave to do an interview (hopefully won't happen) but I'm willing to go that route if it saves time in processing compared to inland!
Good luck with your application - keep us up to date with it!

Indeed....I personally am not really going to worry until I get to the 40 day mark and not have anything in e-cas or mailed to me, because from looking at spreadsheets of applicants on this forum, I've noticed that waiting longer than 40 days is rare.
