I finally got my passports back yesterday and went to land at the Peace Arch last night.

If anyone else flag poles to land make sure you go through US Immigration before trying to go back to Canada lol..and take some American dollars with you just in case.

Otherwise everyone was really friendly and nice and it was a very pleasant experience. I am so glad I am finally landed and this whole tortuous process is finally over! Now the countdown for Citizenship begins.

Passports plural? Anyway, congrats!! That part is so painless, ain't it?

So we sent off my spouse's passport from Toronto directly to Buffalo on Oct 26 via Canada Post Xpress, and I included a return envelope (also Canada Post Xpress) inside. They received it on the 28th, and I've been checking the tracking number for the return envelope and so far there are no records of it. Is it normal for it to take this long?

Hmn, I think that's a bit long. I guess Buffalo enjoys seeing people waste their money on getting things to them faster just for them to hold on to it for two weeks. You might inquire to see if they have a date it was sent out.

Mine went to medical results recieved about 4 days befor it went to in process, so fingers crossed ;D ;D ;D
