Congratulations to all who have heard!

Unfortunately I'm still waiting I phoned the CIC call centre to find out what's happened to our application and I was put on hold while the gentleman on the other line had a look in my file. He came back on and said that they have received it, but haven't reached a decision and that if I haven't heard in the next 30 days, to call them back. The last 40 days have killed me waiting to hear, I don't think I can go another 30 without knowing. I'm so worried, because people who applications arrived AFTER mine have had sponsorship approval. I'm so worried, I just want to hear. I can't even focus at work that's how bad it's getting. Anyone else had this problem, but still had a positive outcome? :'(

3 people on this thread who had their applications received after mine got approved before me so you can imagine I was upset and just as worried as you are now. They all got approved after 29 days but I had to wait 38 days for mine.

Processing times are currently 40 days (which is this Friday for you) so it shouldn't be too long now. Keep the faith

OMG!!! I got my email today!APPROVED as a sponsor! ;D

I made sure to shut my laptop off last night so I wouldn't be tempted to take a peek at my email first thing in the morning. I planned to not open my email until later tonight after work, but i couldn't help it! lol! I'm soooo happy!!! ... more happy that they didn't ask more documents from me. haha!

how do i check ecas? i am really confused ???

using client id from sponsors email? receipt number (paid online)? whose bday? I know I still cannot access now but maybe in a few days ;D (wishful thinking)

i think it is your hubby's information as it is his approval right? you can use the client id.. the receipt number... mine is not working yet. maybe after a week when the visa office in manila received our application

Based on the timelines of other forumers, i think Manila will receive our applications within this week. And within 5 to 10 days will send the first mail to us. Are you in Manila right now or in BC? We might receive our first mail within two to three weeks. Please let me know once you get yours, Manila is faster, I am from the province and once you get yours, I will start to ask our local post office hehehehehhe

I think AOR/PP is just one mail, I could be wrong but in Facebook ( Manila forumers) timelines, they sent their passports within the month. So your mailing address is BC? They said it is Urgent Mail so good luck to us lols I will start prying our local post office soon! haahahhaahhaha. You know how slow can it be here :-X

I hope to get a decision made by september or earlier.. there are cases where the whole process took 4 months only. i hope the same thing for us.
