This is the contact FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca address. Am I right?

Thanks
Olive

yes,you are right .You can contact CIO Sydney directly by email and I advise you to use the address: FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca
You can also phone the CIO Call Centre (1-613-944-4000), but you will remain on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and the level of information you may get is questionable. The email route is the best. Expect to wait at least two days to hear from them, apart from an automatic response upon receipt at their end.

Welcome to the thread..you've been added to the tracker..good luck! Mandie

Hi everyone,
first time poster, long time reader. I'm currently on a visa application in the states so I sent in my PR application via the US and my visa office is Buffalo; I am FSW2 category.

I'd rather not get into specifics on my background but I am NOC 7242 and here's my timeline:
Mailed PR application 26 April 2011
Received by CIO-S 03 May 2011
Application fee charged to CC 11 May 2011
CIO-S AOR/determination 08 June 2011
Received by Visa Office (Buffalo): 30 June 2011

As you can see my status was only switched today to RBVO; I'm guessing it took 3 weeks to get to this status because of the Canada Post mail strike. I know timelines vary depending on visa office but I'm guessing my timeline so far has been fairly normal. Now I just hope the VO in Buffalo doesn't take a year to process. Anyway, for anyone in my shoes who applied end of April or early May and received AOR in early June, you should be RBVO any day now.

Stu

Today (Friday) is Canada Day, and holiday (I think)...SO we are off to Monday....Grrrrr!!!!!! >:( >:(

I just read that the a may 12 applicant received a per. It's getting stressful. I'm trying to be optimistic that the five may 16 applicants will receive the per soon, just delayed. But I can't help thinking why ours is delayed... By the way, may 16 applicants are me, logical and dr anmol. Who's the other 2?

I agree with dr anmol that this thread helps decrease the anxiety level. By reading the posts, it kinda give us hope and let us know that we are not alone. I, too, keep checking my emAil and this forum everyday. Thanks to all and keep on updating... If there are other may applicants who recieved per/ ner, pls join our group... ;)
