Don't be frustrated as today is 53 birthday my file born at CIO (arrived 9th May). Still I am waiting and checking mail almost every minutes....... Sound crazy but PER is worth then every second.

Olive, have you checked your spam mail box. some time it drops there .

That is good news....so at least we know it is up to 12th May..so that fone call to CIO indicating they are responding to 10th May is crap!

No I haven't contact with them as someone said it will bad impact on my file. Is it true? If not then I'll contact them very soon.

Bullcrap, no impact on the application. They have suggested not to bother them (in polite terms) before 6 Weeks, you are way over it. Its your right to know where the application is.

How to Contact the Centralized Intake Office

If you are a Skilled Worker applicant and you have a request for case information you may contact the Client Service Unit of the Central Intake Office. If you applied within the last six weeks, the CSU will not respond to your enquiry.

You will not receive a reply to your email if:

- you have not already applied as a federal skilled worker
- you are not authorized to receive personal information
- you applied within the last six weeks
- your enquiry concerns any other topic.

Please do not send the same enquiry more than once. You can reach the CSU at
FSW‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca.

Allthough I am not experienced about that, I don't think it will have bad impact on the file. I have seen many of the forum members actually contacted CIC at various stage.

After reading about the recent Per i think the call centre guys are liers. But whats bad in letting us know the truth. Not fair cio

Bullcrap, no impact on the application. They have suggested not to bother them (in polite terms) before 6 Weeks, you are way over it. Its your right to know where the application is.

I think I an gonna contact them. As I haven't got any file number how they will trace my file. Using my name and DOB? Or anything else...?

I think that should suffice. Give when it was received at CIO as per Courier.
Also you should send email from same one that is given in your application. Just to be safe, mention that as well in the body of the email.
