Dear,as u know there r thousands of applications in backlog before sept 2008,so they have to clear that applications as well.Thats why they r hiring new staff and not taking new applications.Minister has said that the policy will change every year,so if they will finish applications of before sept 2008 ,a new policy will replace present policy and definately new policy will b more relaxed.But for this u have to wait for atleast one year

Alizia, how and from where you got CIO plan....can u plz share ur source or some idea about that?
Also one of my friend sent application on 22nd Aug and received to CIO on 28th Aug and it has been accepted (means as per courier it shows delivered)....

before sept 2008 - backlog was occurred in local Visa Officess, not in Syndey.
There no any backlog application in Sydney except May, June 2010 and post June26 2010

Sydney continues to review applications of post-June-26 applications
There is an information about charghing CC of July applicant (received by sydney on 19 July).
When May and June AOR will be issued is uknown.
It seems to be post 26.06 applicants will receive more priority, because there is a cap in 1000 places, and CIC need to respond to them ASAP.
