it is toooooo long to read any news about AORs
which seems to be very dangerous

i am very upset, if there is any thing wrong .....
No one is getting AOR today is last working day
if not today then we have to wait for next wk to come

am hoping my CC gets charged today - i havent had any movement there itself

I noticed a coincidence that none of the May 10th applicants in the thread doesnt receive their AOR's till now. My application date is on May 10 and thinking why they did they charge our DD's. There are atleast one candidates AOR is charged from all the application dates.

May be they dont want to charge cash from some nice guys and may let us immigrate free of charge.

am out of the race - got the application back today saying credit card is declined - i called the bank and they dont seem to have any record of declined payments on my account.

Extremely weird because i have used the same credit card several times overseas for larger amounts. anyways good luck to everybody

So sorry to hear that your application was returned - a lot of people are having trouble with their credit card. Please do not be disheartened. If Canada is your dream, please do reapply, especially if you've collated some of your documents already. There's only 1000 in each NOC for post 26 June applicants but they only changed the rules recently so there should be spaces available if you send in your application soon. I don't know if a bankers draft is safer than cc - can they refuse that?

It's so sad that so many of the May applicants are being rejected. At over $1,000 dollars Canadian for the application fee, you would think they could at least call you or e-mail you if they hit a snag such as a box not filled in or the credit card rejected. It's very upsetting. But I guess the staff are just following the rules in the op 6 guidance. Good luck to you.

I agree SandR - I just the application packet and they tried on Aug 5th and 6th - i called the bank with the ref number and they said they cant find it in ttheir records and it might have been a network snag - our consultant is planning to write to the authorities complaining that May applicants havent been allowed 30 days limit to resend payment info - if they say June 26th rule changes dont affect us, that isnt the way they are acting.

My hubby and i are also exploring UK which seems to have a much faster process - as of now dont want to take a decision in a hurry. I am glad we atleast know either way - the wait was the nerve wracking part and for the past 2 weeks i was sure something was amiss.

I agree SandR - I just the application packet and they tried on Aug 5th and 6th - i called the bank with the ref number and they said they cant find it in ttheir records and it might have been a network snag - our consultant is planning to write to the authorities complaining that May applicants havent been allowed 30 days limit to resend payment info - if they say June 26th rule changes dont affect us, that isnt the way they are acting.

Why us? it should be applicants who are applying after June 26th. Why they will only have this small segment of people being targeted for a new rule.

I have sent a new payment information as per the advice given my calling agent at CIO. Today when i called they cannot verify that if they have updated my new payment information. It was received there on 18th. But no way to verify. And they are still saying they are working on May 3rd applicants and they haven't openend my application yet. I cant believe what they are saying. My guess is that they only have information for the applicants who are issued with AOR.

I am very frustrated with waiting time and when i see people are getting rejected for some unfair reason, then it makes whole thing even worse. May Allah gives patience to all of us!

Why us? it should be applicants who are applying after June 26th. Why they will only have this small segment of people being targeted for a new rule.

As majid89 recomended me, I e mailed the minister, I ask why we don't get the 30 days rule to send a new method of payment NO answer yet I ll keep you up dated. It is hard to give up.
Did your NOC stay on the list or not? How come you have sent your papers again? or just the payment?

Try to fix the bank problem first. As I heard, CIO may charge your CC again at a later time, maybe after one hour, maybe after one day.... This is not 100 percent sure. You can not ask them to redo it.

Make sure you can fix the problem during the weekend, and if they charge your CC again in the next week, you will be safe. Wish you good luck!

Take it easy my friend. I experienced the same situation as yours. I sent a new payment form to CIO to correct the previous one, and this way worked. My CC was charged on 17th Aug. When I called CIC call centre at a later day, they confirmed there was a note in the system saying that I would like to change the payment form, so they would pay attention to any seperate payment form for my case. They can not verified the condition of your case at this moment since it has not been in the system yet, but that also does not mean your information was not updated. Let's wait several days to see the result.

I have put wrong noc code in the application.
Will it be fine to send the page to cic with correct noc code . Since my app reached noc on 9 June which is not opened yet.

I don't want miss this oppurtunity as the waiting times are quite long.
Is it only applied for cc payment only ???

Anyone has success sending corrections , changes to initial applications before cc charged/ 1st aor sent
Please help
