hi anata, its really weird. my bank is Bank of America. I was really not expecting this. I used debit card and was told that the pin has not been activated yet. I think the pin is only for debit cards and not applicable for credit cards. goodluck to you

was your card a new one? I meant have you used it before at all. I think you do not need a pin for debit card when charge as a CC. Mine is also from BOA and debit card. Didnt hear anything from them yet.

Hi All,
I'm a new member of this forum. I sent an application from NYC via UPS on May 3 and it was received at CIO Sydney on May 15th. My CC was charged on Aug 09. So when will I receive AOR email? Does anyone have handy documents list to be sent once AOR is received?

its really unfortunate.. my NOC is not in the new list anymore NOC 1111. If your cc hasnt been charged yet, you can call your bank and ask if there are charges that didnt go through. If none yet, check your cc expiration date, credit limit, etc.. goodluck!

Did that - mine is also a debit card from Axis Bank and i have already preauthorized the amount 2 months ago - checked again today with the bank and they say nothing has been charged - very weird

sad news, my application has been returned today via postal mail.
Reason: you have not submitted the required processing fee

i called my bank and I was told tha the pin for the credit card hasn't been activated yet....
please update..

I know what you feel... so dissapointed. I don't understand why don't they just ask for a new form of payment.

i think the reason is the new card has not been activated yet... BOA sent me a new card to replace the old one. i think that caused the mishaps..

Hi All,

As mentioned I have got my CC charged on Monday.

Per advise from this group, I will take ELTAS next month and will include in the full doc set.

In the preparation for the full docs, I have got my bank statements for last 6 months today. Have also got additional letter stating my bank A/C opening date and current balance. The reason why am getting letter very soon is that I need to draw some money for personal reason.

question - Since am planning to send my full docs end of next month, is it OK to have my bank letters dated today? (1 month from date of sending full docs)

there is a point i noticed in may applications that a lot of us the CC is encashed but there is no AOR

is sending the AOR takes so long time for may Applicants ???? ,,, it only took 10 to 15 days Maximm by April Applicants

Hi Mena,

In the april list the average days between the CC being charged and 1st AOR was around 19 days. Sometimes it took even 30 days or more. The max was 55 days.

But I am not sure it this is applicable to all months and the days between for each month can be more or less.

I am praying CIO are much more efficent with us. Is it possible that the some members before May 7th have received 1st AOR and have forgotten to update their status?

I Feel the delay is because of the new rule of CAP.

They need to check all the documents thoroughly so that they can issue AOR only to valid application as there is a CAP of 2000 per year per occupation.

This is just my point of view........
