Congrats ..SandR said:Hi guys,
We can definitely confirm that they are processing May 3rd AORs now!
We received our 1st AOR today by e-mail . Shouldn't be too much longer for you. Hang in there! It'll all be worth while.
We're almost there with our documents - still waiting for one reference, police check and we need to get our photos done. We rang a couple of 'notary publics' for notarising our documents as true copies. Does any one know whether they stamp the copy itself or issue a certificate? Or both? Surely they have to mark the document in some way to say it's a copy?
Also, for proof of funds are you guys just submitting a notarised copy of your bank statement? Or are you getting a 'bank certificate' whatever that is?
Hi SandR, Congratulations! We are getting our PCC through Chennai Police Commissioner. As for settlement funds, we are planning to send copies of fixed deposit certificates.SandR said:Hi guys,

my dear friend i submitted a format of AOR on page 60 of this blogSandR said:Hi guys,
Thanks for all your kind words - we'll be congratulating you soon as well I'm sure.
The AOR e-mail subject title we received was 'FSW-Centralized-Intake-Office' and presumably that's the title you should look for in your e-mail account. The AOR e-mail is quite formal. To be honest we thought we had been rejected when we opened it! The actual confirmation is in the third paragraph. The second paragraph talks about the different routes under FSW and only talks about the rules published in the Canada Gazette on November 28, 2008 i.e. no mention of the 26 June changes. The AOR confirms the 120 day limit for submitting docs but doesn't say any other period.
You have to submit a copy of the e-mail when you submit your docs to the visa office (pre 26 June applicants). We recommend printing a copy of the e-mail straight away (we did three sets) in case you accidently delete the e-mail. There's quite a lot in the e-mail - each copy comes out on 4 sides of A4.
It's a good feeling to see your name and address in the e-mail - makes the whole application process seem more real.
Are you guys going to Ontario when you get through?
